Not only does Lincoln Center hold amazing performances, I love coming here with Chase because it's bustling with culture outside as well. Chase loves to run around the large square, chasing birds, watching the fountain with his "woos" and "ahs", and wave at all the passersby. I'm looking forward to the day I can bring him to his first show!

Hello loves! Come along with us on a typical weekend with my family. Family time is much needed on Saturday mornings after a long week of work! We try to sleep in as long as Chase lets us, which is usually good these days. If we look out the window and the sky is blue, we can pretty much guess what's in store for us. Brunch on weekends is a quintessential activity for New Yorkers and a nice time to catch up with friends. We recently discovered this sunny spot, La Pecora Bianca through our friend, David. Post brunch, Chase was eager to let some energy out and run around. Luckily, for us, Madison Square Park is just across the street from the restaurant, equipped with a playground! We were also fortunate enough to catch the tail end of the mirrors installation, which was the perfect way to stroll through the day.

One Saturday in January, we got hit by "Jonas", the second largest blizzard New York City has ever seen. Considering this, we decided to make the most of our weekend and have a cozy day in. Our ideal quality time entails rolling around in bed as a family and making Chase happy; his giggles are the best! Fortunately, Connie and Daniel live only 2 blocks away, so we made Udon and rolled with the punches!

I wore a casual "lower east side" look because the atmosphere on this side of town is young and spunky. I'm not in this area often so it's always fun to discover new spots, even if they have been around for a while. Vivi Bubble Tea's float is sprinkled with pop rocks, which is a nice touch. I definitely recommend the popcorn chicken - we ordered seconds in a different flavor. We all know what happens to Chase and fried chicken; he had so much fun this day that he took a second nap!

Last Saturday, we took a taxi ride down to the West Village. Some advice for traveling by car with young children: 1. If you can, take an uber or other ride service for a smoother ride 2. Always be prepared with a plastic bag and wet wipes! Chase threw up by the end of the ride so we had to hop off a few blocks early. He tends to if he eats or drinks right before a long, bumpy ride. Fortunately it wasn't too bad and we were able to salvage his outfit for the day, from Yoya. As we walked, we stumbled upon Hamilton's, a charming Luncheonette on 51 Bank St. We had about half an hour until meeting Daniel, so we ordered some small bites and coffee. I must say, the corn beef hash was very tasty!
Refueled, we headed to our original destination, children's clothing and toy store, Yoya! Chase really made himself at home in the store (you'll see what I mean in the video). To be honest, even I had too much fun browsing their super cute collection! The shop is perfectly curated with unique items for your little ones. Every pick is truly the best quality, which also makes it a great destination for gifts. The best part is, the store is located in a beautiful part of town that you'll definitely want to explore.

We were fortunate to have Chef Bala as our chef because he was so professional, and warm at the same time. He was a pleasure to have in the intimacy of our home. The Chef brought everything needed to whip up a delicious taco dinner, which we selected from the selection of meat, fish, pasta, or vegetarian meals. This meant extra quality time with my husband and Chase! With Hank's long work hours, and my growing schedule balancing work and Chase, it was a treat to have a delicious home cooked meal without spending time or energy in the kitchen. Introducing, my first VLOG! It was Martin Luther King Day, so we took advantage of my husband's day off by heading over to the Botanical Gardens in the Bronx. Luckily, we caught the last day of their annual holiday train show. As we hoped, Chase, especially, enjoyed the show. It was heart warming to watch his face glow with mesmerization by the impressive train displays. Despite it being one of the coldest days here, it was definitely worth the trek. We were able to get there fairly easily from Grand Central Terminal. It's safe to say, Chase's love for trains bloomed here; we even got him a larger train set just a week after!
